Earth Day celebrations with UQ Marine Science, Reef Check, CoralWatch at UQ Biodiversity Day at Manly.

Highlights of Moreton Bay (Quandamooka) were showcased onboard our vessel Inspiration using state-of-the-art equipment. Participants discovered life below the surface using our Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) and explored the secret life of plankton via plankton trawling and microscopic investigation. Our guests were able to see the range of creatures filmed via our Baited Remote Underwater Video (BRUV) … a highlights reel we love to showcase to show the abundant diversity.

Professor Ian Tibbetts & MBEEC's Tim Roe discussed impacts evident due to the recent extreme weather events. Our dear friends from Reef Check Australia & CoralWatch were also on hand. So many incredible scientists.

Heartfelt thanks to the passionate & engaging group as we loved having you join us. We all agree the importance of investing in Moreton Bay (Quandamooka) to preserve & protect such special places. Shout out to the ever passionate Sheridan Rabbitt & Professor Mike Noad for making it possible.
