Today marks National Sorry Day which recognises the ongoing pain of the Stolen Generations. National Sorry Day is also the 6th anniversary of the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
The Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation held their annual Sorry Day Ceremony at the Wynnum foreshore - Quandamooka Country. It was a privilege to attend. Aunty Becky reminded us that we need to be people of respect and courage to journey together as people of hope.
