Yura! On Tuesday, 12 July, Moreton Bay EEC hosted NAIDOC celebrations with over 200 enthusiastic and excited students (and staff) from Tingalpa State School.
They were eager to discover everything about Quandamooka culture. Students engaged with the fabulous Matt Burns to celebrate First Nations People and learn about the history, culture and achievements of the Quandamooka Peoples.
They danced, played Indigenous Games, investigated First Nations' uses for plants, heard stories, spoke the Jandai language and made fire (or tried too!). An amazing day all round!
