Congratulations to the incredible students of St Aidan's Anglican Girls School!
At the end of last term, nineteen excited students completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award practice and qualifying adventure journeys on beautiful Quandamooka Country.
From the practice journey in Winnam (Wynnum) and Noogoon (St Helena Island) to the qualifying journey on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), the girls showcased resilience and teamwork and also deepened their understanding of local culture, history and the environment.
This journey specifically tested their expedition skills, demanding thorough planning, navigation, and self-sufficiency. They also learned valuable lessons in leadership, perseverance and independence.
Well done!
