The Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre provides a range of day visit programs to students ranging from Prep to Year 12.

Programs aim to engage and challenge students through incorporating the following:
Authentic, hands-on experiences for students that promote a connection to place and a sense of social justice and personal responsibility.
Learning that is relevant, enjoyable and responsive to individual needs and makes explicit links to the Australian Curriculum.
The importance of sustainable development and sound environmental ethics to support the integrity of the natural environment and ensure sustainable futures.
Indigenous knowledge, traditional land management strategies and cultural history to give perspective on current practices within Moreton Bay.
Whole-school curriculum planning plays a key role in enabling Moreton Bay Environmental Education Centre to deliver the Australian Curriculum for all students and reflects the decisions, resources and priorities of the centre. Queensland’s Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) is also considered in planning. Curriculum planning documentation is dynamic and subject to continuous monitoring and review.
Our effective teaching practices are focussed on the achievement of every student and guided by an explicit pedagogical framework, Our Journeys. Programs can be differentiated to meet the learning needs of individual students.
Program information, including a brief description of our programs with full overviews, itineraries and CARA documentation attached, are viewed on the Curriculum pages. All programs can be customised to meet the needs of your school and students.
