Heartfelt thanks for our visiting schools that have adapted, adjusted and reallocated their bookings to work alongside us this term to ensure that students and teachers were able to join us in discovery, exploration and hands-on engagement. With the delayed start to the school year and further disruptions by COVID and natural disasters, it has been challenging. Your willingness to adapt means the world!
Engaging in the outdoors enables us to reconnect to each other and the natural world. Furthermore, being in nature enables us to become re-energised and embrace opportunities to engage in rich experiences. Needing Trees – The Nature of Happiness report commissioned by Planet Ark found that those who regularly engage in activities outdoors are significantly happier than people who do not.
Be sure to take the opportunity over the break to find nature, explore the outdoors and embrace special places. The passionate staff at Moreton Bay EEC are looking forward to engaging with students and teachers in deep discovery next term.
