James Udy is currently an Adjunct Professor with QUT and Director of Science Under Sail. He has previously been the Chief Scientist for Healthy Land and Water and chair of an expert advisory panel on seagrass monitoring for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
Diana Klein is the Project Manager, Education for CoralWatch while Dr Monique Grol manages research focusing on coral reef data collection and analysis. Both are instrumental in the organisation of community events and ambassador programs.
Ian Thomson is the Managing Director / Founder (Australia) of Ocean Crusaders. Ocean Crusaders is a charity organisation that specialise in waterway cleaning on a large scale. The entire campaign is run with a passion for the ocean having seen the issue our wildlife is facing first hand. Looking into the eyes of a dead turtle and wondering what killed it, to later find out it was plastics, drives this campaign to ensure that our oceans, waterways and beaches are clean and safe for all animals.
